About Atkins Ranch
The Atkins Ranch story started in 1989 with two ranchers around a family table in the rolling hill country of New Zealand and the belief that good food brings people together. One hundred ranchers, thousands of families, countless meals and 30 years later, and we still believe that extraordinary lamb eaten together creates meaningful connections and lasting memories.
While our lamb starts its journey many miles away, we know the importance of being around the corner, which is why our American home is San Francisco, California. We’re likely to be sitting down to dinner the same time that you are. We invite you to slow down, share and savor the delicious, healthy taste of Atkins Ranch lamb.
We’re a family that values honesty, respect and high standards, and those are values you can taste in our lamb. It’s 100% grass-fed healthy lamb that is grown sustainably. And it’s natural, safe and nutritious.

Our ranchers are committed to farming their land while improving it for future generations. They pride themselves on working with natural eco systems and aim to keep the environment as unspoiled as possible. By creating dedicated areas on their ranches for conservation, planting more trees and focusing on protecting and regenerating the land and water, our ranchers know that they are caring for the land for generations to come.
Our lamb is grown by our family of ranchers. They care for their animals and land with the utmost compassion and consideration. Many are tending third, fourth and fifth generation ranches and they’re aware that their ancestors worked hard to create the land and lifestyle they call home. For them, growing high-quality lamb with respect to the natural environment is a way of life and a passion.
